Diners at a popular Gloucester restaurant were left shocked on Sunday evening (September 28) after part of the ceiling collapsed into the dining area.
Emergency services were called to the Toby Carvery in Brockworth at around 6.45pm, with fire crews, paramedics and police vehicles all attending the scene.
Dramatic footage, widely shared on social media, shows large sections of plaster across tables and chairs, with a gaping hole left in the ceiling above.
The clip, which has been viewed more than 90,000 times online, was captioned: “Toby Carvery Brockworth ceiling just collapsed on us! Stay away!!”
It is understood no serious injuries were reported.
