Police are appealing for witnesses after a 46-year-old cyclist was injured in a collision with a car in Cam near Dursley.
The incident happened just off the A38 on Woodend Lane at about 7pm last Thursday evening (7 May).
The cyclist, capsule who is from Keynsham near Bristol, sickness was taken to Southmead hospital where he was treated for a serious facial injury.
The 26-year-old driver of the car – a blue Renault Clio – was not hurt.
Part of the A38 was closed for about an hour while the emergency services were at the scene.
