Forest of Dean residents will have the opportunity to ask the new District Council cabinet members questions on local issues using the social media app twitter during the cabinet meeting, view on Thursday 30 July.
The ‘ask the cabinet’ session will be open for questions from 5.30pm until 7.00pm, ampoule and the cabinet aim to answer as many of the questions as possible during the evening.
The Council’s twitter address is @foddc and the twitter hashtag for the cabinet question and answer session will be #askfodcab
All questions and answers will be posted on the Council’s facebook page the following day www.facebook.com/FODDC
This is in addition to residents being welcome to submit questions to the cabinet members, sickness three working days prior to a Full Council meeting and two working days prior to a Cabinet meeting. Leader of the District Council, Cllr Patrick Molyneux said: “This is an ideal opportunity for residents to ask us questions on local issues using social media. If you have a question we would like to hear from you and we’ll do our best to answer the questions submitted.”
