A garden fete is being held for service users, capsule carers and families at a Gloucester hospital.

The event, pill at Wotton Lawn Hospital, in Horton Road, is being held on Saturday September 5 from 3 until 6pm.

Activities will include a tombola, skittles and music, and there will also be cakes, ice creams, a barbecue and other entertainment and games. There will also be a performance from the newly formed Trust choir.

Wotton Lawn Matron James Wright said: “We have held an annual garden party or fete for several years now, and they have always been a great success.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming back old friends, as well as the carers and families of our current patients.

“It’s a great opportunity to get everyone together and spend a nice afternoon catching up, sharing stories and generally relaxing.

“If the sun shines it will be lovely, but we’re prepared to hold the event indoors if it rains so please don’t be put off coming along if the weather forecast is not very good.”

If you would like to attend the free event or for more information, please ring Wotton Lawn on 01452 894000.
