The founder of Gloucester project Increase the Peace has given an emotional tribute following the fatal stabbing of a 16-year-old boy in the city last night.
Delroy Ellis gave a tearful tribute to Ramani Crosby who passed away following the incident last night.
Mr Ellis said “I just want to say RIP Ramani. It was pleasure to work with you and you’ll never be forgotten.”
“I promise as long as I live – I will try to reduce knife crime in the city.”
“Something needs to change – we have a problem in our community.”
A vigil took place earlier at Gloucester Park.
A £1,000 reward is being offered for information following the serious assault on Stratton Road at just after 6pm on Wednesday.
