Gloucester City Homes will tomorrow be supporting the nationwide “Homes for Britain” campaign, viagra 60mg calling for an end to the housing crisis within a generation.

“Homes for Britain” is calling for all political parties and the next government, to commit to a long-term plan that sets out how everyone can have access to the home they need at a price they can afford.

Within the South West, housing organisations and housing providers are working together to highlight the campaign by staging a relay, using a classic Routemaster Bus, from Land’s End to London. On 5th March Gloucester City Homes will show their additional support in Gloucester’s King’s Square with the “Hello Gloucester” van, to spread the word and gain more public awareness for the campaign.

For decades the UK has failed to build enough new homes, currently only building half the number the country needs every year. This means many people can’t start a family because they can’t afford to move, adults living with parents in overcrowded homes and people struggle to afford to keep a roof over their heads, or become homeless. The housing crisis is affecting people from all walks of life and all parts of the country.

The public are invited to visit King’s Square between 12 and 2pm and find out more about “Homes for Britain”, adding their support via a petition to end the housing crisis.

Anita Pope, Director of Housing and Organisational Development, said “Gloucester City Homes supports the “Homes for Britain” Campaign. As a soon to be social housing provider we are well aware of the importance of everyone’s right to have a home at an affordable price”
