Gloucestershire Police has marked Neighbourhood Policing Week by recognising the role of officers and PCSOs working across local communities.
The force says neighbourhood teams are often the first point of contact for residents and play a key role in tackling issues such as anti-social behaviour, street-level drug dealing, shoplifting and burglary.
Recent activity has included arrests linked to drug offences, burglary and shoplifting, searches for vulnerable missing people, and a proactive operation in Gloucester where two people were arrested and 24 e-bikes and scooters were seized.
Teams have also supported partner agencies including Trading Standards and Border Force.
Chief Superintendent Rebecca Love said neighbourhood officers and PCSOs care deeply about keeping their communities safe and play an invaluable role in policing across Gloucestershire.
