A very special concert will be held on Saturday 27 November at 4.30pm-6pm in celebration of Fifty Years of Chorister Sponsorship at Gloucester Cathedral.
Thanks to the generosity of so many people over the past half a century, hundreds of children have had the opportunity to be choristers in our glorious Cathedral, and many of them have gone on to be distinguished professional musicians, not least the patron of the Boy Choristers, Ed Gardner OBE, Principal Conductor of the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
All five resident choirs will be performing a selection of famous or new anthems in the Nave of the Cathedral, some of which were written specially for the Cathedral Choir.
