The Government Planning Inspector has written to Stroud District Council giving the green light to its Local Plan for 25 years for housing and development in the Stroud District up to 2031.
The number of 11, buy cialis 400 homes for the time period from 2006 to 2031 was proposed by the Council and was accepted by the inspector.
Geoffrey Clifton-Brown, MP for the Cotswolds, whose constituency includes part of Stroud District said in parliament on Tuesday, “Stroud district council, which I partly represent, is about to get its local plan adopted and I congratulate it.”
“This is excellent news,” said Cllr Geoff Wheeler, Leader of the Labour-led Stroud District Council. “After much debate and hard work, we shall now have a Local Plan in place. It is still subject to the approval of full council on the 19th of November. The Plan allows us to be in a strong position to resist attempts by developers being able to build anywhere in the District.”
Labour-led Stroud District are the first Council in Gloucestershire to have its Local Plan approved under the new guidance set out by Government.
