Police are appealing for information after an assault at a nightclub in Cheltenham.
At around 1.30am on Sunday 1 November, order the victim was near to the DJ booth on the dancefloor in Prom Vaults on Promenade. The 40-year-old man was then assaulted by another man, who punched him in the face, possibly several times.
The victim has suffered a broken nose, broken jaw and fractures to his cheekbones, requiring facial surgery, as a result of the assault.
The offender is a white man and believed to be in his twenties.
Officers investigating the offence are particularly appealing for a man who alerted the nightclub’s door staff of the victim’s injuries to make contact with them, as he may be able to help with enquiries.
Anyone else with information or who witnessed the incident is urged to contact police on 101 quoting incident 234 of Sunday 1 November.
