A man and a woman have been sentenced in connection with the supply of mephedrone in the Forest of Dean.
Suzanne Sogukcesme, stomach 36 and of Saxon Place in Sedbury and Aaron Haile, sickness 33 and of Catbrook in Chepstow, both appeared at Gloucester Crown Court yesterday after pleading guilty to offences.
Suzanne Sogukcesme was sentenced for possession with intent to supply a class B drug to 9 months in prison, suspended for 12 months, and ordered to pay a £100 victim surcharge.
The drugs in her possession, associated paraphernalia, phones linked to the offence and £180 in cash have either been forfeited or destroyed.
Aaron Haile pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of a class B drug and was sentenced to 40 hours unpaid community work, to be completed before 16 February, and ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge.
The drugs in his possession, associated paraphernalia and phones linked to the offence have either been forfeited or destroyed.
The pair were originally arrested after a warrant carried out by police at an address in Saxon Place in Sedbury on 30 June 2014 in which over 20 grams of suspected mephedrone in powder form was found.
