Police were called shortly after 4pm yesterday to an incident at an address in Cromwell Street Gloucester.
A 40-year-old male is being treated at Southmead Hospital, treat Bristol, decease for injuries caused by a knife. His condition is described as non life threatening or life changing.
A 45 year old male has been arrested in connection with this incident.
Gloucestershire Police said: “Incidents like this are extremely rare and we will robustly tackle any incidents of knife crime.”
