With 72 holes, cialis 300 shots and a 20 mile walk, treatment Gloucestershire-headquartered Omega Resource Group reaffirmed its commitment to charity during participation in the Longest Day of Golf Challenge for Macmillan.

Taking place at the end of July, Omega Resource Group presented a team of four to raise money for the cancer support charity Macmillan. CEO, Alan Beresford, and Group Sales Director, James Strickland, were joined by Jeremy Strickland and Ian Wills for a 4.30 T off at Minchinhampton Golf Course.

The four played from dawn till dusk raising £850 for Macmillan Cancer Support which provides specialist health care, information and financial support to people affected by cancer.

Alan Beresford, CEO of Omega Resource Group commented: “It was a definite challenge but we thoroughly enjoyed it. Macmillan have done a fantastic job of creating this event and we are delighted that we have been able to participate.

This event was ideal for us as it combined our love of golf with fundraising for a charity that directly impacts those in our local community. We pride ourselves on working to our core valves and to embrace our CSR and much of this is done through working with charities at a local level or with a local footprint.”

The global recruitment consultancy regularly raises funds for charities across the UK and have recently raised money for Cheltenham-based charity Hop Skip and Jump cycling from Stonehouse to St. Emilion and donated all 2013 Christmas fundraising to Headway West Midlands.
