Police are investigating a burglary in the Kingsholm area of Gloucester.
Investigating officer said a house was entered in Deans Walk during Tuesday evening through an insecure front door.
The offenders located car keys just inside the door used them to steal the car parked outside.
It seems that the purpose of the burglary was to steal the car.
Police said the car was recovered early this morning in Tuffley Avenue.
