Police are investigating a distraction burglary in Cheltenham.
It happened in Sandford Mill Road at around 11am on Monday.
A man purporting to be from the water board entered a house.
A purse, cash and a bank card was later found to be missing.
The man is described as about 50 years old, missing teeth and wearing a black beanie hat and a black puffer coat.
He was riding a mountain bike.
