Seven inspirational community and environmental projects from across the county have been recognised at the 2025 CPRE Gloucestershire Annual Awards, celebrating innovation, sustainability, and positive local impact.
The awards, hosted by CPRE Gloucestershire, took place on Monday 20 October at The Gillyflower, Elmore Court — itself a previous double award winner known for its eco-conscious practices. Since their launch in 2008, the awards have highlighted more than 100 initiatives that have contributed to protecting and enhancing Gloucestershire’s countryside.
This year’s event carried special meaning as the countryside charity paid tribute to its Vice Chair, Richard Lloyd, who led the awards scheme for many years and whose dedication to environmental stewardship has left a lasting legacy within CPRE Gloucestershire and beyond.
Generously sponsored once again by Loxley Solicitors, the awards recognised projects demonstrating creativity, sustainability, and community benefit.

CPRE Gloucestershire praised each recipient for their “forward-thinking and exemplary contributions” to improving local environments and enriching community life.
