A wanted man from the Forest of Dean has been located and arrested.
Police were looking to locate 38-year-old Odin Higgs from Lydney.
He was arrested within five hours of a public appeal being issued.
A warrant had previously been issued for his arrest after failing to appear at court in relation to assault offences and he had subsequently been sentenced in his absence.
