Gloucestershire Police were called to an address in Newent at 10.40pm on 12th August 2015 where the body of a 43 year old local man was found.
Police are treating the death as suspicious and a 51 year old local woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody.
Police enquiries are continuing.
