Cheltenham’s Ask Italian restaurant has closed its doors for good, in another setback for the town’s dining scene.
The branch, based in the Montpellier area, shut on Monday, with passers-by noting the doors locked and the furniture already removed.
The chain confirmed the closure in a statement, describing the move as an operational decision. “The decision to close our Cheltenham restaurant was made for operational reasons. All affected team members were offered alternative roles within the business. At this time, we have no plans for any further restaurant closures,” a spokesperson said.
