Harjit Gill, vcialis 40mg UKIP’s former mayor of Gloucester is to speak at the GL1 Leisure Centre at the flagship public meeting on the EU referendum on November 9.
The event, sponsored by the EFDD European Parliamentary group will feature main speaker Nigel Farage, its Joint President and also leader of UKIP.
Mr Gill, who left the Labour party after serving as Mayor and Sherrif of the city, joined UKIP last year, and has become a leading member of the party in Gloucestershire and spoke at the party’s Margate conference earlier in the year.
Mr Gill said:” It’s a great privilege to be speaking on the same platform as Nigel in my home town of Gloucester. It’s the only event of this stature to be held in the south west and midlands this year and the subject of our membership of the EU has never been more pressing. Everyday on our tv screen we can see the EU policies are causing havoc to the continent, whether it’s the Euro crisis in Greece or the migration crisis across the borders of so many European nations.
The EU referendum is going to be the most important vote we have for decades and will shape the future of our country in this century, so I’m delighted to be asked to contribute.”
The #SayNoToEU tour public meeting, sponsored by the EFDD (Europe of Freedom and Direct Democracy) with main speaker Nigel Farage, is at Glevum Hall, The GL1 Leisure Centre, Bruton Way, Gloucester GL1 1DT. Starts 7 pm (doors open 6pm).
